New Timbery M100 entry-level sawmill arrives in Europe
The new Timbery M100 is among the most affordable band sawmills yet.
Designed by a Canadian sawmill specialist with more than 30 years of sawmill design experience, the Timbery M100 is among the most affordable entry-level band sawmills available on the market.
The M100, while designed for affordability, provides solid features that make the sawmilling process easier for beginners and low volume timber producers. Log capacity for the M100 is 660mm in diameter by just over three metres long. Additional 1.5 metre bed extensions allow longer logs to be cut.
The M100 comes with a 4kW electric motor, or a 9hp Subaru petrol engine. The M100 features a convenient clutch and throttle lever that engages both at the same time. Head height is adjusted very easily with a hand crank. A log clamp and adjusted side supports are included. Once the sawmill is running, light pushing is all that is needed to cut through the log.
Key to an affordable sawmill is compact transport to keep shipping costs as low as possible. For the M100, all sawmill components are packaged in a compact shipping box (1.6m x 0.5m x 1.0m at 280kg). Total assembly time is usually completed in less than one work shift, compared to other similarly priced products that can take up to several days to fully assemble.
Timbery sawmills are manufactured in the United States, and the company has agrowing dealer network in North America and Africa. In Europe, Timbery sawmills will be sold through Wood-Mizer distributors, as a viable solution for entering into low-volume sawmilling for personal or business use.
