Wood-Mizer band sawmill fulfils mountain winter hotel project in Slovakia

Wood-Mizer band sawmill fulfils mountain winter hotel project in Slovakia Juro Mochilan, a forest warden, was persuaded by his wife to buy his Wood-Mizer.They live in the village of Liptovske Revuce in the beautiful Upper Fatras region. Here there is excellent winter hunting, hot springs and the downhill ski slopes are quite close. All of this galvanized them into rebuilding their own home into a Hotel for the winter season.

Now they have accommodation for 45 guests. All of the rooms are decorated with timber cut on their Wood-Mizer sawmill. There is a fish pond in the garden. The Hotel is called "Jana’s" – his wife’s name. Now Jana deals with the Hotel business and Juro concentrates on the sawmilling. Though, to be truthful, he does occasionally hunt, thus there is a special room with a display of his hunting trophies.
